River and ocean cruise operator, CroisiEurope, has expanded its UK sales team with the appointment of Janine Sykes in the brand new position of Business Development Manager for the North of England and Scotland.
Sykes, who starts with CroisiEurope on 14th March, has spent the last 25 years working as a business development manager in the travel industry, most recently with 3For Limited where she represented Norwegian Cruise Lines. She has also worked for Virgin Trains East Coast (now trading as LNER) and Unique Vacations UK Ltd, the representative of Sandals Resorts.
Sykes will report to CroisiEurope’s UK Sales Director, John Fair and will be responsible for managing trade relationships, industry partners and delivering strategy and core initiatives.
Commenting on her appointment, Sykes said: “I’m delighted to be joining the CroisiEurope team at such an exciting time, with the launch of the brand new call centre and the ability to offer ATOL-protected fly/cruise packages for the first time. I look forward to working closely with our trade partners in the north and helping drive forward CroisiEurope’s growth plans.”
