New destinations for Newcastle Airport

This month, Newcastle Airport will welcome two new airline partners and flights to four new destinations.

Passengers can look forward to new direct flights to Berlin, Copenhagen, Guernsey and Agadir in Morocco this summer.

Eurowings has commenced direct flights to Berlin every Thursday and Sunday. Named one of Europe’s top city-break destinations by The Times, The Telegraph and Condé Nast Traveller, the city offers something for everyone from historic monuments such as the Brandenburg Gate and the iconic Reichstag building to vibrant nightlife and world-class
food scene.

New airline partner, Norwegian Airlines, has started services to Copenhagen every Friday and Monday. Copenhagen has been named as one of the world’s top cities to visit in 2025 by global media company Time Out.

The Airport’s summer schedule also sees weekly flights on board TUI to Agadir as well as the Airport’s second new airline partner – Blue Islands – operating services to Guernsey, every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Flights on Thursdays and Saturdays include a shortstop in Jersey.

In addition to these new destinations, SunExpress has expanded its services with the launch of twice-weekly flights to Dalaman every Wednesday and Sunday.

Leon McQuaid, Director of Aviation Development at Newcastle Airport, said: “We are delighted to be launching new routes to Berlin, Copenhagen, Guernsey and Agadir.

“The arrival of Norwegian Airlines and Blue Islands, alongside continued investment from Eurowings, SunExpress and TUI, further enhances our growing route network with passengers able to fly directly to 84 destinations and more than 300 onward connections worldwide.”
