United Airlines has launched its nonstop daily seasonal service between Glasgow and its hub at Newark/New York, celebrating the arrival of the inaugural flight into Glasgow Airport. 

United is the only U.S. airline offering a nonstop service between Glasgow and the United States. The route marks United’s return to Glasgow which the airline served previously up until October 2019.

The returning service builds on United’s existing services from Scotland: daily year-round flights from Edinburgh to Newark/New York, almost year-round, up to daily service between Edinburgh and Washington D.C., as well as a daily seasonal service between Edinburgh and Chicago O’Hare.
